I'm passionate about the designed environment, and about working with creative people and organizations.

A 20-year A/E/C marketing professional, I've worked as a strategic facilitator, analyst, and planner. I've developed, presented, and trained others in written, graphic, and spoken communications. I’ve designed, implemented and managed day-to-day marketing programs. And I’ve been recognized as a Fellow by the Society for Marketing Professional Services (FSMPS).

Childhood visits to great buildings on the East Coast and the architectural melting pot of New York City kindled the excitement for design and construction that has guided my career. Before becoming a consultant, I was a Partner and Director of Marketing for Lease Crutcher Lewis, a leading Northwest general contractor. Prior to that I served as Director of Marketing and Associate at Meng Associates, a successful Northwest architectural and value analysis firm.

I’m active in a number of professional and non-profit organizations, including past board positions with the Seattle Architectural Foundation, the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association, and the Society of Marketing Professional Services (on the national board, as President of the Seattle chapter, and recently as trustee of the national Foundation).

I have presented on a wide range of topics, such as client care, alternative design/construction delivery methods, leadership, and marketing.

A New Yorker by birth and youth, I attended Hamilton College, then moved to Seattle and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Writing from the University of Washington. I’ve also completed Masters-level study in architectural design, theory, and history.
